Montgomery County, TX – Scott Baker, a dedicated community leader and lifelong Republican, proudly kicked off his campaign for County Chair of the Montgomery County Republican Party. With a strong commitment to keeping the party in the hands of the Republican voters, Baker aims to stop the efforts of party insiders to take the Primary Election and candidate selection behind closed doors. Scott will lead the party into a new era of transparency, strength, organization, and success.

Scott Baker brings a wealth of experience as an Air Force veteran, longtime Precinct Chair, Republican committee chairman, community organizer, and party volunteer, with a proven track record of fostering collaboration and driving results. His vision for the Montgomery County Republican Party focuses on three key pillars:

1. Keeping the Republican Primary in the hands of the voters: Baker is leading the effort to stop party insiders in Montgomery County from taking control of the Primary Elections and disenfranchising the Republican voters. Political insiders are actively working to kick candidates off of Primary Ballots and to use party funds and resources to help candidates they want to win. Scott Baker has pledged to stop this and protect the voice and votes of the people.

2. Strengthening Grassroots Efforts: Baker pledges to empower precinct chairs, volunteers, and especially the voters to build a robust network that amplifies conservative voices across the county.

Scott Baker is a longtime Montgomery County resident, where he lives with his wife, Meagan, and their six children. He is a US Air Force veteran, Senior AV Design Engineer, church elder and worship leader, and active member of the Republican Party.
